Roy DeCarava has passed away at age 89. He was one of my favorite photographers. I took this snapshot of the girls this afternoon and decided to process it the way that Mr. DeCarava might have.

The Boston Globe has published my photos several times before, but they never gave me credit. I guess their policy has changed, because they actually printed my name this past Sunday in the Fall Arts Preview section.
